Hi Kristy,

How do you fit in with the Hainings? Do you know why Richard and Gloria Haining are not mentioned? My brother and I are the only children mentioned--the adopted ones. Thanks,
Anna

Admin reply: Hi, Anna!

Thanks for stopping by my website. I'm guessing that the Hainings you think are yourself and your brother are simply from another Haining branch with names similar to yours. I know of Hainings from Mississippi, but they are not related to my group of Hainings.

I'll contact you by direct email and we can sort this out. Even if your Hainings aren't directly related to mine, I still have lots of information on other Haining families.

cheers,

HI,

I'm the great grandson on Noble Omer Grandon, Marcus Grandon. I found this website while looking for information about Noble's son, John Rodger Grandon. I have found a gap in your information in the Grandon line, and I'm still trying to piece together how we Grandons are related to you. I can help you to fill in a huge hole in your excellent website by giving details on the many descendents of Noble O. Grandon currrently unwritten on this website. The missing link is that Noble had a second son, John Rodger Grandon. John's line is now deep and wide.

I have send a similar email to your yahoo address.

Please contact me.

Best wishes,

Marcus Grandon

Admin reply: Hi, Marcus! I'm glad to hear from you. Sorry for a bit of a delayed reply — life has been chaotic these last few months and I haven't had as much time for genealogy as I'd like. I will communicate with you by direct email soon.

Thanks for visiting my website.
cheers,
Kirsty

For Donald Allen Templer which is my father your of his residence in Cleveland Ohio in 1984 I should be Cleveland mailing address, the actual address is North Bay, New York Oneida County

Admin reply: Hi, Robert —

It's nice to meet you. We are actually 6th cousins, connecting through the Richmond line (which is the line of your mother's paternal grandmother).

I believe the residence in 1984 came from your Uncle Bud as he helped me enormously when I first got started in genealogy. Or it may be that I found evidence of his mailing address — when you find a record like that, it may not be clear that it was a mailing address rather than a residence address. Thank you for the correction.

I will contact you by direct email soon.

Thanks for stopping by my website!

I am the great granddaughter of Era Huffman. I am hoping to find information about where in Evant, Texas the farm was located.

I would also like to share the few documents I have.

Admin reply: Hello, Shannon —

It's nice to meet you, cousin. We are actually 6th cousins. Unfortunately, your branch is a little too distant for me to know the exact location of the farmhouse in Evant, Texas. But there are still branches of the Huffmans that live in Evant, so maybe someone from another branch might know.

I will contact you by direct email soon.

Thanks for visiting my website!

Hi, Kirsty, my mother is the daughter of Loyetta Elisabeth Byes, second daughter of Marion Byes and Silvia Upperman. There were nine children born to Marion and Silvia which included Cloie Edith Byes, Loyetta Elisabeth Byes, Joseph Clifford Byes, Flossie Myrtle Byes, Mary Elizabeth Byes, Osbern Byes, Austin Byes (twins), Ghita Byes, and Hallie Neola Byes. I enjoyed reading your entries on the Byes and don't know if we are distant cousins or not, but if I have any information you would like, I would be happy to share.

Admin reply: Hi, Marsha —

I'm very glad to hear from you. We are 4th cousins, connecting through your grandmother Sylvia's maternal line, the Maglone family. I've done a fair amount of research on the Maglone family, although there's still quite a bit more that can be discovered.

I would love to compare notes with you, but it will probably have to wait for a month or two. A recent death in the family has caused a fair amount of upheaval in my life and I haven't had much time for my favorite hobby of genealogy. I'm hoping that things will calm down fairly soon, though.

When I next get a free moment, I'll contact you by direct email. Thanks for visiting my website!

cheers,
your cousin,

I am Charles and Elizabeth LaMont's great granddaughter. I was trying to find their grave sites before a visit to Iowa. Was quite surprised to find them listed your website as relatives. My father James Nicholson LaMont is buried in Eureka California along with 2 of my brothers. James Nicholson LaMont jr (died in 1974 age 18) and captain Andrew David LaMont USMC (died 2003 in Iraq). My mother. Vivian Haggood LaMont is still alive and residing with me in Maryland. I am the oldest of 9 children
Don't even know if this is useful info for your family as I have no idea how we are related

Admin reply: Hi, Susan! It's very nice to hear from you. We share relatives in common, but are not related ourselves because I connect through the family of your grandfather's first wife. Things have been fairly chaotic for me recently, but I will try to write to you directly soon in case you would like more information.

Thanks for stopping by my website!

You have Charles E. (Edwin) Schneider listed on your web with an approximate DOB and location. He was my father and was born on February 11, 1930 near St Paul KS. I don't think his birth was registered at the time.

I'm the child listed as "living".

I'm not sure if there is other info that I could provide that would be helpful. If so, please let me know.

Admin reply: Hi, Patricia! Thanks for contacting me. We are somewhat distant cousins, but related nonetheless. I will contact you directly sometime in July (before then things are a bit too hectic with a recent move, among other things...).

cheers,
Kirsty

Admin reply: Hi, Amy — What you write is very interesting. I hope to contact you directly within a couple of weeks. A recent move has left me very little time for my favorite hobby, but once July arrives things should calm down a bit.

I'll write soon... ish!

Thanks,
Kirsty
